Now we are here. We drove over mountains in California where it was snowing. Cars slid from the road to the edges of the mountain and people were scared. I sang Oh My Darling, Clementine again and again, so that I would not be afraid, but I was still afraid. Then it was dark and foggy, then the wind was strong and the moon was showing. It’s especially nice to see the moon after a harrowing drive down an icy mountain. It seems like it was put there just to remind me, You’re home. I’m very tired.
